Sandwich Shop Sign
The sandwich shop next to my work was shut down, and they have left the old sign in our shared alleyway at work. It reminds me of things that we take for granted, such as signs. Classic signs in particular not the neon terrible McDonalds signs we see. I want to place this sign in a gallery, to bring light to things we ignore. The gallery allows us to do this, as it has other rules, untold rules and behaviour that allows for anything to be put inside the walls, to be see as Art. Its the power that a white room can bring.
This is not the original sign but my interpritation of it, simplifyed in form and colour, yet it still signifys the original.
